How do I calculate my ACT composite from raw scores?

Why is there no exact ACT raw-to-scale table?
ACT scales every test form separately so a given scaled score reflects the same ability regardless of which day you tested. That means the same raw score maps to slightly different scaled scores across forms, so no single fixed conversion table exists — the honest answer is an estimate that may differ from your official composite by a point or two.
